Working as Head of Video Production from 2016 to 2019 at New Zealand Media and Entertainment, Roko oversaw the creative for all commercial and entertainment video content produced by the company's internal video production team NZME Vision. While this was a role closer in kind to a creative director position Roko also had the opportunity to step into the director's chair.
